Planning Board Administration
The Planning and Zoning Administrator coordinates the administrative activities of the Planning Board. The Administrator is available to answer questions from townspeople and other members of the community regarding planning and zoning issues and to facilitate the processing of various applications. The Administrator is responsible for preliminary review of applications for site plans, subdivisions, lot line adjustments, voluntary lot mergers, change of use, and waivers. The Planning and Zoning Administrator is dedicated to communicating effectively with the public and maintaining an efficient method for conducting the business of the Planning Board.
The Planning Board regularly meets once a month, on the first (1st) Tuesday at 6:30pm in the Town Hall, 231 Atlantic Avenue. Completed applications are accepted until the application deadline date listed on the Planning Board meeting schedule for the following month’s meeting. Additionally, the Planning Board holds monthly work session meetings, regularly scheduled for the third (3rd) Tuesday at 6:30pm in the Town Hall, 231 Atlantic Avenue. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend all meetings.
