Little Boar’s Head District Impact

NHDOT is advancing Project 42312 to reconstruct coastal revetments (seawalls) along NH Route 1A. Portions of the work occur within Little Boar’s Head (Sections 10 and 13).

  • Location: Ocean Boulevard (Sections 10 & 13)
  • Work: Rebuild existing seawalls
  • Design Standard: 2050 storm conditions
  • Alignment: Same roadway alignment and crest elevation as 1978 footprint

No expansion into new areas.
No extension further into the Historic District.
No archaeological impacts identified.
