April 28                Movie "Nebraska" shown at the North Hampton Public Library at 1:00 PM
May 28                  Shaker Museum, Canterbury, NH  $10 per person (lunch/restaurant to be determined, cost on your own)
June 25                 Squam Lake Boat Tour, $20 per person- lunch at the Comman Man in Ashland, NH (lunch cost on your own)

Tai Chi, the slow moving Chinese exercise for health and balance is being held at Centennial Hall, North Hampton on Tuesday mornings at 10 am.  Open to everyone in the Seacoast area and run through the North Hampton Recreation Dept.  Classes are $5/class and to register please contact the Town Office above the Fire Station for a class pass.

Focus is on improving balance, coordination, deep breathing and moving energy smoothly through the body.  Tai Chi has been proven by multiple medical studies to reduce pain, improve flexibility and reduce falls.  No previous experience necessary.

Marsha Carr, your instructor has been practicing Tai Chi for over 15 years and is a gentle and patience teacher.  For more information about the class itself please contact Marsha at, or (603) 498-9550  (leave message).

Homework Club


Who:            Boys & Girls Grades 4-8
What:           Homework Assistance

When:           Monday's & Thursday's  3:00 to 4:00 PM

Where:          NHS (Classroom TBD)

Why:            Having a dedicated time and space to complete assignments is very valuable to getting the most out of the educational experience.

Cost:           $35 per month - Please register at the Town Offices, 233 Atlantic Avenue  Payments need to be made prior to the first meeting of each                           month.

Coyote Club Session V -March 18 to April 29

Developed by John Pazdon and Mary Mazur in 2007 as a way to introduce children to nature based studies, native crafts and evironmental stewardship.  Coyote Club is Driven by a passion to get children comfortable with the outdoors, into the woods and connected with the environment.  Children involved in nature based education programs often experience a deeper sense of self-respect, self-esteem, and a strengthening of their connections to the natural world.

**New This Year**  you may register your child for multiple sessions of Coyote Club.  Payment must also be made at time of registration.  No refunds for cancellations.  

When:   Tuesdays
Who:    Boys and Girls ages 5 through 12
Where:  North Hampton School (Classroom To Be Determined)
Cost:   $80 Pre-Registration Required at the Town Offices before May 2, 2014 for Session VI

Future Coyote Club Sessions:
Session VI              May 6 to June 10

Registrations must be made the Friday prior to the start of each new session, and cannot be accepted after that date.


Chess Club
Grades 3-8
Thursdays after school for 8 weeks in Mrs. deConstant's Room
Cost:  $80
Session Dates: 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 4/3, 4/17, 5/1, 5/8 and 5/15
Please register at the Town Offices prior to start date

Piano Lessons   

Esteemed Pianist Nancy Roberts, who has over 20 years of teach experience, will be conducting lessons at North Hampton School this Fall.  Areas of focus will include, but are not limited to, music reading, note values, rythym, ear training, music theory, and positive practice habits.  Genres range from classical to contemporary.  Lessons are thirty minutes.

From Rt 1. Go on Elm Rd. at stop sign go straight onto Birch Rd. Field is located ¼ miles on left. Look for Knowles Field Sign


Knowles Field is owned and operated by North Hampton Youth Association. Has baseball and Soccer field, concession stand.
