This ordinance may be amended in the manner prescribed in Sections 63-a and 64 of Chapter 31 of the Revised Statutes Annotated (cited as RSA 31:63-a & 64) and any other pertinent sections of Revised Statutes Annotated, as amended from time to time. It shall be the duty of the Village District Commissioners upon petition signed by the owners of fifty per cent in valuation of the property contained in this Village District or in any part thereof consisting of not less than ten acres, or upon their own initiative from time to time, to hold a public hearing, fifteen days' public notice of which shall be given, for consideration of amendments altering the regulations hereby applied to this Village District and thereupon to submit to the Village District for action their recommendations in regard to the same.
