The Welfare Department provides direct assistance to those residents of North Hampton who are poor and unable to maintain themselves pursuant to RSA 165.

The Welfare Department

n Provides housing assistance to community residents in collaboration with other agencies.

n Provides emergency prescription assistance.

n Responds to resident requests for information, referral, and advocacy services.

Priority is given to the elderly, handicapped, and families with children under the age of 3.

Provides interest free loans to assist with security deposits for income eligible families and individuals.

Medication Bridge is a program to help eligible uninsured and underinsured patients of all ages receive needed prescription medications.  
Every major pharmaceutical company has a patient assistance program that provides prescription medications to eligible patients at no cost or a small copayment.
SeaCare Health Services will work with your provider to apply for these medications.
