	The Police Department is staffed seven days a week twenty-four hours a day. The Rockingham County Sheriff’s department dispatches the police department. All citizens reporting crimes in progress and other types of emergency calls are urged to utilize 9-1-1 to ensure the safest, timely response to these emergencies. Business calls or non-emergency calls should be called into 964-8621 or 679-2225.
