Brush Dump Rules and Regulations
These rules and regulations were developed to ensure proper handling and disposal of brush, leaves and garden materials that will help extend the life of the brush dump, and protect Public Health and Safety. These rules and regulations are also in compliance with State and Federal Regulations.
All residents are encouraged to help the waste stream by recycling everything possible.
All users are required to have a brush dump sticker. Landscapers and lawn care personnel are required to supply a list of their North Hampton customers’ names, addresses, and telephone numbers when acquiring a sticker. A $100.00 fee is charged.
Yearly stickers are available at the Town Administrative Offices, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please bring your car registration for proof of residency. Stickers for residents are $1.00.
MATERIALS ACCEPTED: Trees five (5) feet in length and five (5) inches or under in diameter, brush, leaves, grass, and garden materials. Our compost pile will accept leaves, grass clippings and garden materials only (no bags or containers). All compost material must be free of sticks, stones, and gravel.
MATERIALS NOT ACCEPTED: Animal carcasses, manure of any nature, plastic bags, pots, bottles, cans, metal, asphalt, concrete or large rocks. No lumber, fences, demolition or building material.
Trees over five (5) inches in diameter, stumps, asphalt, concrete and demolition material goes to E.R.R.C. in Epping at a per yard fee. See attendant or call the Highway department at 603-964-6442 for their telephone number and information.
