Friends of the North Hampton Bandstand

The North Hampton Bandstand is located at the intersection of Rt. 111 & Rt. 151.
All band concerts are free and open to the public.  Funding for these concerts comes entirely from businesses and individual contributors throughout the year.  All donations are tax deductible.

In case of rain:  Concerts will be cancelled by 1:00 PM on the day of the concert.  We will have a "concert cancelled" signboard at the bandstand or you may call 964-5992 or 964-6326.  A cancelled notice will also be on the town web site
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Summer Concert Series

Wed. June 22         Rico Barr and the Jump'n Jive Review is New Englands  Premier                
 6-8 pm                  Swing and Party Dance Band!  They also perform selections from                                             
                               the Jazz and Rock decades including Motown and R&B. Special
                              Guest Wendy Nottonson will join us for our season opener!

Wed. June 29        Jumbo Circus Peanuts – New Orleans Style Funk.  This Band has                                           6-8 pm                   been a seacoast family favorite for many years.  Sponsored by:
                              Seacoast Memorials of Portsmouth   

Wed. July 6          The BaHa Brothers -  Summer time Jimmy Buffet Beach Party Band.
6-8 pm                  Put on your Hawaiian shirt, flip-flops and join the party!

Wed. July 13         Moose Mountain Jazz Band – A full seven-piece band that       
6-8 pm                  specializes in playing Dixieland Jazz, that foot-tapping, highly
                             entertaining variety of jazz that has its roots deep in American history.

Wed. July 20        Deep Blue “C” Studio Orchestra – 17 members that will delight you
6-8 pm                  with their Burt Bacharach/Hal David Tribute Concert. Come see the
                             orchestra celebrate these wonderful songs!

Wed. July 27        Swing Rocket Band – A 5-piece family swing/jazz band from
6-8 pm                  Bristol, NH.   They bring family friendly music to our summer
                            concert series.  Join us.

Wed. Aug. 3         The New Legacy Swing Band – With five saxes, four trombones,
6-8 pm                  four trumpets, a full rhythm section, a vocalist and a music library
                            of 300+ tunes and songs, they have a big sound and a great mix for

Wed. Aug. 10       The Reminisants – A six-piece band performing music from the
6-8 pm                   50's thru the 80's.  Their music was great and their interaction with
                             the audience was outstanding!   Had to have them back!!  

Wed. Aug. 17       Club Soda Band – Performs Top 40 favorites from the
6-8 pm                  1960’s through today (rock'n roll, country, romantic ballads).  The
                              band is rich with vocal harmonies and encourages crowd participation!

Wed. Aug. 24       The Old Bastards – Classic fun time, Rock’n roll, “Come and
5:30-7:30 pm         Party with us”.  Popular Seacoast Band, back by popular demand!
                             Note earlier starting time.

Wed. Aug. 31        The Soulmate Band – Seacoast's premier Soul, Motown, R&B and
5:30-7:30 pm          Disco Band performing for the first time in North Hampton.

Monday, Sept. 5   4EverFab – is a premier Beatles Tribute Band that focuses on brilliant
Labor Day              lead vocals, precise harmonies and outstanding musicianship  It's the
2-4 pm                  music of “The Beatles...Nicely Played”  Join us for our final concert.

The American Legion Post 35 will provide the  Labor Day Cookout consisting of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chips, drinks and strawberry shortcake. These items are available for purchase or you may  bring your own picnic.  In case of rain the Labor Day Concert will be canceled by 10:00 a.m.

Don’t forget to bring your blankets or chairs!!

Food and Beverages: The St. James Masonic Lodge of Hampton will provide food  for purchase, i.e., hot dogs, hamburgers, beans, chips, sodas and desserts.   Winnicummet Rebekah Lodge #26 will have desserts.  Through your support of these organizations they are able to raise funds for their worthwhile causes.
